Poster Work for Kochi Design Week 2019
Life Giver
In Kerala, Elephants have been an integral part of culture, domestication, festivities, and life in general. This mighty nature encompasses green fertility and emits sparks representing the cultivation of life.
Here, the Kerala landscape is designed as the trunk of the elephant and is further exemplified by the shadow.
The posters were drawn out of a common narrative. The geographical outline of Kerala has been utilized as the prime mover, whose presence completes various icons that connotate with the Malabar region such as the trunk, snake boat, and tiger stripe. The togetherness is abstracted into the primal virtue of the respective individual entity:- forest, the stillness of the water and the stripes of a tiger.
